Museums:
- BMA (free) and the adjoining sculpture garden
- Walters (free) down in Mount Vernon
- AVAM ($) by Inner Harbor
Movies:
- Charles Theatre & before/after Tapas Teatro
- Landmark at Harbor East (super nice, lots of good datey places to eat around there too, like Pazo)
Other cool things:
- Top of the World Trade Center by harbor has really cool 360 degree view of the city ($5)
- Baltimore City Zoo ($$)... totally unexpected but it's actually really good, probably better than DC's even
- Baltimore Conservatory, right by the zoo, nice victorian-style greenhouses. Chicks dig flowers.

Unbelievable as it may seem, yes Baltimore has a zoo, and it's pretty close to campus too. http://www.marylandzoo.org/
When people do new and different things, dopamine is released in the brain which aids "falling in love" so new and different things are good ideas. Is she visiting from out of town?
I always suggest a bar with a mechanical bull. It's novel and it's suggestive. Apparently this place has one:

Nah, she goes to JHU. She knows Baltimore better than I do since she is from MD anyway.
I thought Iguana closed and reopened as something else?

yeah iguana closed, not sure what it opened as (http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/midnight_sun/blog/2009/07/owner_iguana_cantina_will_reop.html)
either way mechanical bulls are a great date idea.

Ok, from in town makes it harder to find something novel.
American Visionary Art Museum?
Going sailing around the harbour was always my standby: http://www.downtownsailing.org/
How about bottle of chilled wine like a reisling on a grassy spot?
What does she like?

She's the outdoorsy type, like hiking, kayaking that kind of stuff. Funny though, her favorite wine is reisling. Which I think is gross. Sailing sounds like a good idea. She LOVES music too, she has an insane knowledge about pop culture and music.
Hike on the AT? Go to Annapolis Rock on the AT.

Much farther but really awesome is kayaking /camping at Ohio-Pyle state park.

We've been to operas & concerts at Peabody, ice skating at Patterson park, pretty much done a tour of all the nicer restaurants in Baltimore, been to all the different sports in the area (O's, Nats, Ravens, Caps).
Anyone have any other ideas? I like to keep things fresh, so even if its mundane (Bmore aquarium...yea gen bio!) I'd still love to hear it.
